Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Philadelphia, PA)

Stonegate Summit Medical builds devices used by hospitals and clinics, with its team based in Philadelphia, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. Engineers and clinicians sit at the same table. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to device records, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Philadelphia. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
