Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Philadelphia, PA)

Amberfield Corner Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Philadelphia region. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to warranty claims, and clear open items. • Track costs around parts orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with warranty claims. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
