Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Orlando, FL)

Amberfield Sparrow Freight Partners moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Orlando, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 295 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around proof of delivery against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Orlando. • We reply to every applicant.
