Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Orlando, FL)

Cedar Bridge Foods is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for customer specifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer specifications, and clear open items. • Track costs around ingredient orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Orlando. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
