Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Orlando, FL)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Granite Water Authority and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 834 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around billing accounts against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Orlando. • We reply to every applicant.
