Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Orlando, FL)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Cobalt Learning Group and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 424 people based in Orlando. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around enrolment against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Orlando, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
