Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Orlando, FL)

Fernwood Linden Inspection Services Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for field inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to field inspections, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Orlando, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
