Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Omaha, NE)

Silverline Systems makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Omaha, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 4 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to production batches, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
