Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Omaha, NE)

Redstone Beacon Manufacturing is a Omaha manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track costs around production lines against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to scrap and rework, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
