Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Oklahoma City, OK)

Ironwood Beacon Community Partners Group is a nonprofit in Oklahoma City supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around food distribution against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with client intake. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oklahoma City. • We reply to every applicant.
