Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Oklahoma City, OK)

Ironwood Beacon Community Partners Group runs community programmes across Oklahoma City. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 354 people based in Oklahoma City. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to client intake, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with client intake. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oklahoma City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
