Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (New Orleans, LA)

Foxglove North Property Management is a New Orleans property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to unit turnovers, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around resident events against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with unit turnovers. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
