Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Nashville, TN)

Bright Fox Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Nashville. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 860 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with family communication.
