Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Miami, FL)

Lumen Amber Early Learning Group is an early-learning provider in Miami. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people based in Miami. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to tuition and subsidies, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around licensing records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Miami. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
