Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Memphis, TN)

We are growing our team at Summit Keystone Civic Services and adding a Senior Accountant whose main responsibility will be revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to procurement, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with procurement. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Memphis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
