Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Madison, WI)

Greenridge Keystone Environmental Services Group is an environmental-services company in Madison with routes, transfer stations and recycling. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around collection routes against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with fleet maintenance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
