Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Kansas City, MO)

Greenridge West Telecom Group builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Kansas City area. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. We invest in training. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer tickets, and clear open items. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around network equipment against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
