Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Kansas City, MO)

Cedar Bridge Farms Group is an agricultural business based around Kansas City. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around cold storage against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to field records, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with field records. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
