Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Kansas City, MO)

Greenridge Junction Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Kansas City plant. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 421 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Track costs around customer orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to scrap and rework, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
