Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Kansas City, MO)

Silverline Rowan Inspection Services is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for client sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to client sites, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
