Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Kansas City, MO)

Stonegate Fox Medical is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for regulatory submissions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Patient safety shapes every decision. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to regulatory submissions, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with regulatory submissions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
