Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Kansas City, MO)

Lumen Bridge Facilities is a facilities company in Kansas City with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 118 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around safety inspections against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with supply orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
