Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Kansas City, MO)

Clearpath Lakeside Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Kansas City area, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around outage reports against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
