Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Jackson, MS)

Lumen North Medical designs and makes medical devices in Jackson. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Documentation is part of the craft. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around training materials against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
