Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Jackson, MS)

Redstone Forge Care Services is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for caregiver training, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 29 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to caregiver training, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with caregiver training. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
