Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Grand Rapids, MI)

Stonegate Fox Construction Partners is a Grand Rapids contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 27 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to project schedules, and clear open items. • Track costs around safety records against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with project schedules. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
