Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Grand Rapids, MI)

Silverline Bridge Arts Center Group is a cultural organisation in Grand Rapids presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around ticketing against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to exhibitions, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with exhibitions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
