Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Grand Rapids, MI)

Clearpath Partners is a Grand Rapids company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 61 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around parts orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to warranty claims, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
