Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Grand Rapids, MI)

Greenridge Keystone Arts Center Group runs a venue and education programmes in Grand Rapids. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Everyone pitches in on show days. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around school partnerships against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with event logistics.
