Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Fort Worth, TX)

Foxglove Fern Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Fort Worth region, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Fort Worth. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around usage data against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to service connections, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Fort Worth, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
