Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Fort Worth, TX)

Silverline Glen Foods is a Fort Worth food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to customer specifications, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around ingredient orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Fort Worth. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
