Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Fort Worth, TX)

Bluepeak Thistle Learning Group Partners operates schools and learning programmes around Fort Worth, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around family communication against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to school calendars, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with school calendars. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
