Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Fort Worth, TX)

Westbrook Summit Early Learning is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to family communication, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Fort Worth. • We reply to every applicant.
