Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (El Paso, TX)

Northwind Willow Community Partners is a El Paso charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to volunteer shifts, and clear open items. • Track costs around grant reporting against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer shifts. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in El Paso. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
