Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Dallas, TX)

Foxglove Hollow Arts Center is a cultural organisation in Dallas presenting exhibitions and performances. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Dallas. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to exhibitions, and clear open items. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with exhibitions. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
