Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Dallas, TX)

Clearpath Pine Auto Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for service appointments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Service hours are steady. What you will do • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to service appointments, and clear open items. • Track costs around warranty claims against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with service appointments. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
