Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Dallas, TX)

Harborlight Iron Property Management manages apartment communities around Dallas. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track costs around unit turnovers against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to maintenance requests, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with maintenance requests. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Dallas, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
