Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Cleveland, OH)

Amberfield Pine Property Management is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for lease renewals, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 366 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to lease renewals, and clear open items. • Track costs around resident events against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Experience with lease renewals. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
