Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Cleveland, OH)

Bluepeak Basin Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Cleveland focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 370 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to billing accounts, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cleveland. • We reply to every applicant.
