Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Cleveland, OH)

Redstone Haven Construction is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for subcontractor invoices, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around safety records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Experience with subcontractor invoices. • A degree or certificate in accounting. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
