Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Cleveland, OH)

Ironwood Pine Water Authority Group operates treatment plants and pipelines around Cleveland, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 121 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to capital projects, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around meter reading against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with capital projects.
