Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Cleveland, OH)

Westbrook Fern Hospitality is a hospitality company in Cleveland with restaurants, rooms and catering, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Track costs around guest bookings against budget and explain variances to managers. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to reviews and feedback, and clear open items. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with reviews and feedback. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Cleveland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
