Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Cleveland, OH)

Highbridge Glen Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around Cleveland, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 15 people based in Cleveland. What you will do • Track costs around certifications against budget and explain variances to managers. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to test reports, and clear open items. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • A degree or certificate in accounting.
