Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Charleston, SC)

Harborlight Forge Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Charleston. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Track costs around housekeeping schedules against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with guest bookings. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
