Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Boise, ID)

Ironwood Ridge Learning Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for school calendars, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Track costs around attendance records against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with school calendars.
