Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Boise, ID)

Bright Juniper Environmental Services Group is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for recycling loads, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 190 people based in Boise. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to recycling loads, and clear open items. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around weigh tickets against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Boise, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
