Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Boise, ID)

Bright Wren Telecom Group provides broadband and phone service around Boise. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a small organisation of about 195 people based in Boise. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. • Track costs around network equipment against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • Familiarity with audit requirements. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Boise. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
