Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Boise, ID)

Nova Bright Early Learning is an early-learning provider in Boise. We are hiring a Senior Accountant to take on revenue reconciliation. You would join a large organisation of about 304 people based in Boise. What you will do • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to tuition and subsidies, and clear open items. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Track costs around enrolment against budget and explain variances to managers. What we are looking for • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. Nice to have • A degree or certificate in accounting. • Experience with tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
