Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Austin, TX)

Cedar Summit Early Learning Associates is looking for a Senior Accountant. The job centres on revenue reconciliation for classroom supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Work with purchasing and operations to fix recurring coding errors. • Reconcile bank and vendor accounts each month, including anything tied to classroom supplies, and clear open items. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around meal programmes against budget and explain variances to managers. • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. Nice to have • Experience with classroom supplies. • Familiarity with audit requirements.
