Senior Accountant - revenue reconciliation (Austin, TX)

Ironwood Sable Staffing Group is a Austin staffing firm for warehouse, office and healthcare roles, and we need a Senior Accountant to lead our revenue reconciliation. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Prepare journal entries and support the month-end close on a fixed calendar. • Build schedules for the annual audit and answer the auditors' questions. • Track costs around client orders against budget and explain variances to managers. • Review invoices and expense reports for accuracy before payment. • Keep the chart of accounts and supporting files tidy so anyone can follow them. What we are looking for • Two or more years of hands-on accounting experience. • A clear, patient way of explaining numbers to non-accountants. • Solid spreadsheet skills and comfort with an ERP or accounting system. • Careful attention to detail and a habit of checking your own work. Nice to have • Familiarity with audit requirements. • Experience with temp assignments. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
